Please find attached an Open Letter to you by persons with variations of s*x anatomy, their partners, family members, friends, and supporters, with now over 50 signatories.
We would like to highlight the recent legal and political developments detailed, especially that in 2013 both the UN Special Rapporteur on Torture and the Council of Europe (COE) unmistakably condemned cosmetic genital surgeries on children concerned and called for legislation (p. 7-8), as well as the significant increase in litigation against surgeons for damages of up to 250,000 Euros per case (p. 7-8).

The international human rights group Zwischengeschlecht.org demands the prohibition of forced genital surgeries on children and adolescents with ‚atypical‘ s*x anatomy and „Human Rights for Hermaphrodites too!“
Persons concerned shall later decide themselves, if they want surgeries or not, and if yes, which.
